WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a gentle yet powerful healing practice that works holistically, supporting the body, mind, and spirit. It is not a religion, but a sacred energetic modality rooted in presence, awareness, and conscious connection.
The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words:
Rei, meaning spiritually guided, and Ki, meaning life force energy.
Together, Reiki can be understood as spiritually guided life force energy.
During a Reiki session, the practitioner acts as a channel for this universal life force energy, offering light touch or hands held just above the body. Much like yoga and breathwork, Reiki invites the nervous system into a state of deep rest, where the body’s natural intelligence can rebalance and restore itself.
Reiki does not seek to fix or force change. Instead, it creates the conditions for healing, supporting relaxation, emotional clarity, and a deeper connection to self.

WHY REIKI?
Reiki is especially supportive if you are:
• Feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or burnt out
• Navigating emotional transitions or life changes
• Experiencing anxiety, fatigue, or difficulty sleeping
• Seeking deeper connection to yourself and your inner wisdom
• Complementing other healing or therapeutic work
Reiki meets you exactly where you are.
There is nothing to do, nothing to fix.
You simply soften and receive.

HOW REIKI COMPLEMENTS YOGA & BREATHWORK
Yoga, breathwork, and Reiki share a common intention: to bring us back into balance, presence, and deeper connection with ourselves.
Yoga works primarily through the physical body, using movement, alignment, and awareness to cultivate strength, mobility, and steadiness.
Breathwork works through the respiratory and nervous systems, helping to regulate energy, release stored tension, and shift internal states.
Reiki works more subtly, supporting the energetic body and inviting deep rest without effort or exertion.
Together, they create a powerful and holistic approach to wellbeing.
Reiki complements yoga and breathwork by:
• Supporting nervous system regulation and integration
• Allowing the body to absorb and settle after physical or emotional release
• Reaching layers that movement or breath alone may not access
• Creating space for insight, clarity, and intuitive awareness
Where yoga asks us to move and breathwork asks us to engage, Reiki invites us to simply receive.
Many people find Reiki especially supportive alongside yoga and breathwork when they are feeling depleted, overwhelmed, or navigating change. It can deepen embodied awareness, enhance your breath practice, and help integrate the shifts that arise through movement and conscious breathing.
Reiki meets you in stillness — so the work you do on the mat and through the breath can land, settle, and become fully embodied.
When aligned, Reiki may also be gently woven into my yoga and breathwork sessions to support deeper relaxation and integration.

REIKI WITH DEBBIE
My Reiki sessions are grounded, intuitive, and deeply supportive. Drawing from my background in yoga, breathwork, and holistic health coaching, each session is a space to slow down, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect with your own inner wisdom.
This is not about fixing or forcing change. It is about creating safety so the body can soften, energy can rebalance, and clarity can emerge naturally.
Reiki can be experienced as a standalone session or woven into your ongoing healing journey.
